Concept Development
Audiences are bombarded with content all day, everyday. To reach your audience, you need to cut through the noise. Good content cuts through the noise, good content sticks with the viewer, and good content comes from good ideas.
We aren’t afraid of good ideas. In fact, we love them!
We would love to work with you in developing a good (no, great!) ideas that give you the greatest chance of success. From new idea generation and script writing, to adaptation of existing concepts and building on already established brand identity - we want to help you create content that connects.
Production Coordination
Before the cameras start rolling, meticulous planning is essential. In this phase, we organise all the necessary resources ensuring that every element is in place for a smooth production process.
We can holistically produce and coordinate any project from end to end. From ideation and development, through to organising and execution of filming (including casting, crewing, location, permits, legals, etc), right up to editing and delivery of final product.
Alternatively, we can also step in and/or step out at any point in the process. Depending on you and your project specifics, we pride ourselves on flexibility and a respect for your needs and how we can help you.
filming & Production Equipment
With everything in place, we embark on the exciting phase of production. Our skilled professionals handle all aspects of filming, capturing the magic that will bring your story to life on screen.
As part of our arsenal here at Merlin, we have a number of high end Sony cinema cameras, DJI Mavic pro & Avata drones, professional audio and lighting gear, gimbals and sliders, and a selection of other equipment that covers us for any eventuality.
However, there’s the right tool for the right job. If we don’t have what you need - everything is only a phone call away. Through our many years of operation, we have developed a close relationship with the local hire houses and know their inventory extremely well..
Post Production
The final phase involves meticulous editing, graphics design, visual effects, colour grading, sound mastering and animation. We transform the raw footage into a polished masterpiece, ensuring that it resonates with your audience and effectively conveys your message.
With 4 professional edit suites and 2 full-spec colour grade suites, all with full Adobe Creative Cloud and DaVinci Resolve software licences; the entire post production process is all handled within our office. Right up until the output of any, and all; deliverables required.
Studio and Office Space
Merlin headquarters is located in Norwood. Along with our post production facilities and team offices, we also have on site a fully functional studio space; perfect for green screen or coloured backdrop filming (this can also double as a live streaming suite, broadcasting your presentation live via the web), and a professional recording studio booth; ideal for voice over recordings.
Our office also offers an inviting and relaxing area for casual meetings and catch ups, as well as professional production meetings, review screenings and edit note sessions. We proudly offer a stocked fridge full of refreshments and arcade games to make your visit as comfortable - and fun! - as possible.
